With the current situation, and staying home all day long, we slowly got fed up of all of this. We needed to go out, even if it's still in the same country, we desperately had to leave our 4 walls and escape to nature. Our usual plan was to go ice skating somewhere in Graubünden. However plans have changed and we decided to go to Lauterbrunnen in Berner Oberland. We booked a beautiful accommodation through Airbnb in Lauterbrunnen for a weekend and I don't regret it.
• Schilthorn
Early in the morning we woke up very excited to go up to the mountain called Schilthorn. It took us 5 minutes by car from our Airbnb and 4 gondola rides to get this stunning view of #eiger #mönch and #jungfrau. We went straight to the top where nobody else was except for some ski/snowboarders. We enjoyed our morning sun with a coffee and croissant from the take away restaurant. After our photoshooting we visited the James Bond museum in the groundfloor. There was nobody else there except for us. And we took full advantage of that. Later, we took one gondola back to the mountain called #birg. There we were very excited to do the #thrillwalk. Also this one we could enjoy all by ourselves.
• Schlitteln on the Foxrun (66)
In the afternoon we went sledging in german 'schlitteln' from Kleine Scheidegg down to Wengen. After a beautiful sunset with a cup of tea to warm up our hands, we started the fox run on our sledges. It was such a beautiful experience with nobody else on the track. We rented the toboggans from a local store in Lauterbrunnen for CHF 12.00 per day.
• Roadtrip Brünnigpass and cloy scene spot
On the last day, our way home was basically a small #roadtrip. First stop was #Iseltwald. If anyone of you are familiar with the korean series called 'crash landing on you', this is the spot where Mr. Ri was playing the song for his brother on the piano. #crashlandingonyou #cloy
We came across this beautiful viewpoint of #Lungerersee in Brünnigpass. The view is stunning. We literally spent an hour just enjoying nature and the beauty of Switzerland. If you ever get the chance to do a roadtrip along #Brünnigpass, don't miss out this viewpoint. It's definitely worth it.
